Accounts Payable Specialist

Your role and your team:

As part of our Finance team and you will be playing a vital part in shaping the development of our world class product. This role reports to the Head of Financial Accounting, working closely with our Accounts Payable Specialists.

Your main focus will be developing and maintaining the day to day non-production purchasing and payables cycle, working closely with both Lilium colleagues and suppliers.

Your day to day:

  • Take charge of processing the received incoming documents and initiate payments of invoices, expenses and dunning letters.
  • Validate and book incoming invoice within our ERP system
  • Reconciliation of credit card and management of vendor payments to ensure Lilium honours the payment terms.
  • Help to develop and manage the day to day purchasing and payables cycle, including the development and implementation of new systems and processes.
  • Working closely with internal budget holders, colleagues and suppliers to convert incoming data into correct, timely and authorised payments.
  • Maintain accounting records relating to payments.
  • Maintain the professionalisation of our purchasing and payables processes and controls, while not compromising the agility and flexibility advantages of our dynamic culture.

Youe Profile:

  • Min. 9 years of experience in a similar role.
  • ERP- Knowledge / Infor LN is a plus
  • Able to take responsibility and use excellent communication skills to solve problems.
  • Strong motivation and ability to build, implement and maintain structures and processes.
  • Highly organised, pragmatic and committed to finding and delivering high quality outcomes
  • Good experience with German VAT and HGB, IFRS is a plus
  • Fluent English language skills are essential, business level German required, any other language would be beneficial
